| BYLAWS MEMBERSHIP 2.1 The Local shall be composed of workers eligible for membership in NABET-CWA, over whom the Local is granted jurisdiction by the NABET-CWA By-Laws. 2.2 Eligibility for and acceptance into the Local shall be governed as set forth in Articles 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 (a) of the NABET-CWA By-Laws. 2.3 RIGHTS and DUTIES of members (a) The RIGHTS of members shall be as outlined in Article 2.5 of the NABET-CWA By-Laws. (b) The DUTIES of members shall be as outlined in Article 2.4 of the NABET-CWA By-Laws. 2.4 A membership card shall be provided and given to each member as long as he/she is a member-in-good-standing in accordance with Article 2.4 (b) of the NABET-CWA By- Laws and Article 7 of these By-Laws. 2.5 When a member is accepted into NABET-CWA, the SECRETARY and TREASURER, or.Secretary/Treasurer together with the Steward involved, shall see that the member is supplied with an up-to-date copy of one each of the following: i. NABET-CWA By-Laws. ii. Local By-Laws. iii. Unit contract (when applicable). Back to Menu |
