| BYLAWS STEWARDS COUNCIL 6.1 A Unit STEWARDS COUNCIL shall consist of the LOCAL PRESIDENT, all of the Unit STEWARDS and the LOCAL EXECUTIVE BOARD Member(s) of the Unit. 6.2 The Unit LOCAL EXECUTIVE BOARD Member who received the most votes in the LOCAL, EXECUTIVE BOARD election shall be the Chairman of the Unit STEWARDS COUNCIL. He/she shall appoint a SCRIBE from the STEWARDS COUNCIL. Minutes of the Unit STEWARDS COUNCIL meetings shall be kept by the SCRIBE and a copy given or sent to the LOCAL SECRETARY or LOCAL SECRETARY-TREASURER. 6.3 MEETINGS: (a) SPECIAL meetings may be called at the discretion of CHIEF STEWARD, the LOCAL PRESIDENT, the LOCAL EXECUTIVE BOARD a majority of the members of the Unit STEWARDS COUNCIL. A majority shall constitute a QUORUM. 6.4 Members of a Unit STEWARDS COUNCIL shall exchange opinions relative to grievances of their Unit and make recommendations on grievances and other organizational problems to the LOCAL EXECUTIVE BOARD. 6.5 A Unit STEWARDS COUNCIL may call meetings of the Unit at their discretion. 6.6 All actions of the Unit STEWARDS COUNCIL shall be subject to review by the LOCAL EXECUTIVE BOARD.
